Howard Perch: Award-Winning Work
Howard Perch is an award-winning healthcare administrator who specializes in post-acute care (PAC) and Lean principles. Perch recently developed and operated a twenty-three-bed transitional care unit and a 10,000 square foot wellness center, and he’s not slowing down any time soon. In fact, in 2014, Perch was recognized with the prestigious State of Florida Governors Sterling Award for a LEAN project related to healthcare.
Away from work, Howard Perch is a passionate volunteer who’s active in his community helping the homeless, and he’s been doing so for years. He’s the founder of the annual toiletry drive for WITNESS, a local women’s shelter in Volusia County, Florida, near his home. In 1988, he was also recognized as a Special Olympics Volunteer of the Year in New Hanover County, North Carolina.
